Meeting
the Standard
Until recently, most air purity
analysis has been done using stain tubes. Whilst this is better
than nothing there are a number of problems; the tests are subjective
so cannot be calibrated to National Standards, measurement of
oil contamination is extremely dubious when measuring the most
commonly used synthetic oils, and in certain circumstances one
contaminant can interfere with the tests for another. These
alone are very relevant considerations, but much more important
is the fact that these methods simply can not meet the requirements
of the European Standard - EN12021. At AQUATRON we have developed
the method to deal with this problem. The APA program will ensure
full compliance with the new standard, conveniently and more
importantly cost effectively. |
